What is punctum?

The world is a community of images. Every so often an image will affect you. This image demands your attention. This image communicates. To arrange images to tell your story, to intrigue your audience...this is good design. This is design punctuated by style, simplicity and clarity. This is design with punctum. This is my goal.

Katie Bernacchi has worked as a freelance designer and artist since 1998 after graduating from UCLA with a BA in Fine Art.

From 2004 to 2006 she flourished at a top Bay Area design
and marketing agency, Silverlign Group, Inc. As a core member of that unique and talented team, she created and maintained award winning work for clients including Levi Strauss & Co. and Target Corporation.

Now, on her own once again, she brings it all together - a broad range of skills and strategies with a passionate and original spin. Design that communicates...design with punctum!
